Define the fit before the artwork

Start with chest width, body length, shoulder position, and sleeve shape. A boxy tee and a longer relaxed tee create different silhouettes even when their chest measurements match.

Choose the right reference

For T-shirts, describe how light or substantial the fabric should feel. For polos, include collar, placket, button, and cuff details. Send close-up images as well as full front and back views.

Plan a consistent size range

Provide a measurement chart for each size and state how the garment is measured. Include artwork placement by size if your design needs to stay proportional across the collection.
